Man City vs Chelsea: Why DSTV will not show Community Shield game

Saturday, August 04, 2018

DStv Nigeria have confirmed that they will not show the
Community Shield game between Manchester City and
Chelsea this Sunday.

According to the cable TV network, they do not have the
rights to air the clash which will be played at Wembley
Stadium.
When enquiries were made on Twitter about the encounter,
which has not been included on their roaster, their response
was: “Hi. SuperSport will unfortunately not be broadcasting the
Community Shield this weekend, as our bid for broadcast
rights was unsuccessful.”

The match is often regarded as the curtain raiser for the
English Premier League season.
City boss, Pep Guardiola, will be looking to clinch his third
piece of silveware in charge of the Etihad club.
Sarri, on the other hand, has never won a title throughout his
managerial career and would love to kick off his reign at
Stamford Bridge with victory in this game.

Kick off is 3pm.
